ENTRYWAY

However, the musician specifically requested interior designer Robin Rains to prominently display his beloved Pablo Picasso portrait. This portrait, captured at his La Californie villa by Irving Penn in 1957, was given a central position. Rains elegantly placed the artwork above a custom iron bench covered in wool flannel.

LIVING ROOM

In the family room, patio doors center on a fireplace topped by an abstract painting by Bernadette de Samois. A custom sofa facing an ebony coffee table, as well as a bouclé-clad seat and lounge chair, completes the vignette.

DINING ROOM

Rains, the designer, has enhanced the dining area to make it more spacious. They have transformed the large table into a versatile surface for work-from-home tasks, including autographing posters for the rock star.

KITCHEN

A wooden kitchen island and flooring contribute to a cozy ambiance. Brass pendant lights emit a warm golden light, complemented by white-painted brick walls that provide a bright and textured setting. This kitchen seamlessly combines style and functionality for cooking, hosting, and daily activities.

MUSIC ROOM AND STUDIO

In the music room, there is a triptych featuring Japanese martial artists above a sofa, while the chandelier is adorned with ostrich egg-shaded lamps. In the studio, Rains has decorated it with a tastefully aged vintage rug and curtains to enhance the visual and acoustic ambiance during jam sessions.

PRIMARY AND SECONDARY BEDROOM

The designer used a similar style in the primary and secondary bedroom as in the studio, incorporating ample fabric to fashion a snug sleeping space reminiscent of a cocoon.
