LIVING ROOM

A true showstopper takes center stage: a dazzling chandelier with brass spokes and 40 glowing globes shipped all the way from the Netherlands. Paired with Flay’s serpentine sectional, it sets a bold yet warm tone—like a Broadway star casting light over the entire space.

KITCHEN

Timeless and practical, Flay’s kitchen has remained mostly unaltered, showcasing the beauty of enduring design. Centered around a marble-topped island, the area is illuminated by Tom Dixon pendant lights and complemented by stylish bar stools. Additionally, a striking arrangement of brass-and-glass arches introduces depth and artistic flair to the spacious loft-like ambiance.

DINING ROOM

A small design tweak transformed this room entirely. By rotating the chandelier, the dining table gained its perfect spot, maximizing openness. Bistro curtains nod to Flay’s restaurateur roots, while leather-upholstered chairs and a graphite rug deepen the palette, creating an intimate yet sophisticated dining nook.

FAMILY ROOM

Grasscloth walls and a burl-wood coffee table give the family room a cozy, textural character. Anchored by an Art Deco rug, it’s a retreat that balances comfort and understated elegance.

PRIMARY BEDROOM

Rustic and refined — reclaimed wood clads the wall behind the bed, softened by Venetian plaster and brass-leather accents. It’s restful, tactile, and layered with quiet sophistication.

PRIMARY BATHROOM

A marble-clad bath with an oxidized brass vanity and vintage chandelier. Luxe without excess, it’s a serene spa-like escape in the heart of the city.

GUEST ROOM

Designer Capuano transformed an overlooked hallway space into a cozy secondary suite. A Smith bed by Maiden Home anchors the room, flanked by rich red lacquered nightstands, while Diego Uchitel’s oversized Eye print watches over neutral walls painted in Benjamin Moore’s Pashmina.

POWDER ROOM

Wrapped entirely in Ondulare Verde marble, this jewel-box powder room glows under three Tom Dixon sconces. Deep green roman clay walls (Portola Paints’ Lone Park) bounce light and reflections, creating a moody yet luminous retreat.

VANITY AREA

Flay’s new vanity area is ideal for his daughter’s visits and his work life, as he frequently shoots segments in his apartment. The vanity boasts a Breccia Viola marble tabletop and a curving alcove with Shou Sugi Ban-style paneling, inspired by the Kelly Wearstler-designed Santa Monica Proper Hotel.
